Year-end Preparation
At the end of every fiscal year your accountant will provide a list of information that is required for year end financial statement preparation.
I always advise my clients to have access to an electronic storage system to easily access all paperwork. Once this system is established, get into the habit of filing copies of receipts, invoices, payroll records, insurance, tax filings, etc. so it is easily referenced for future review.
Here is a brief list of paperwork required:
